I am a self-proclaimed Disney historian.  I love reading about Walt and the early years of Disneyland and Disney films. I especially love visiting Disneyland, preferring laid-back Southern California to the hustle and bustle of Orlando. That does not mean I don't know a thing or two about Walt Disney World -  I've stayed in nearly every Disney hotel in Florida and eaten more meals there than I can count.

My affinity for travel goes well beyond the borders of Fantasyland though.  When My husband (and partner at Swan & Sparrow) and I were married, he whisked me away on a dream honeymoon to St. John in the US Virgin Islands.  That trip sparked a love of the tropics that has led to multiple land and sea vacations to the eastern Caribbean, the Mayan Riviera, the west coast of Mexico, and the glorious South Pacific.  Add to that travels to Alaska, the beaches of the Atlantic coast, and countless stays in luxury hotels all over the US and Canada, and I've become quite a seasoned traveler.

And don’t get me started on the Disney Cruise Line.  

Actually, feel free to get me started on the Disney Cruise Line.  Or Norwegian or Royal Caribbean or Viking for that matter.  I will be happy to share with you why I believe that sometimes, cruising is the only way to fly!
